လူမိုက်တို့​သည် မိမိကိုယ်ကို ​ေတာ်သည်၊ ပါး​နပ်သည်ဟု ထင်ြကြပီး​ တစ်ကိုယ်​ေရတိုး​တက်မှုကို ြပုလုပ်ရန် လျစ်လျူရှှုြက၏။ အဆံုး​တွင် ၎င်း​တို့​သည် ထံုထိုင်း​ြခင်း​၏ အိမ်ရှင်ြကီး​များ​ ြဖစ်ြက​ေလ​ေတာ့​၏။

လူ​ေတာ်များ​မှာ မိမိကိုယ်ကို မတတ်၊ မသိ ဟုမြကာခဏ ယူဆြကြပီး​ ထင်သည့်​အတိုင်း​မသိဟန်​ေဆာင် တတ် ြကရာ တြဖည်း​ြဖည်း​နှင့်​ မိုက်မဲ​ေသာ အသိဉာဏ် နံံု့​နဲ့​ြခင်း​၏ ထံ​ေမှာက်တွင် အညံ့​ခံလိုက်ြက၏။

ပညာရှိများ​မှာမူ ပုန်း​ကွယ်​ေန​ေသာ အသိဉာဏ်နံုနဲ့​မှုနှင့်​ ငုပ်လျိှှုး​​ေန​ေသာ အသိဉာဏ်ရှိမှုတို့​ကို ထိုး​ထွင်း​ြမင်နိုင်ြက၍ ပိုမို ြကီး​ြမတ်​ေသာ ပညာဉာဏ်အဆင့်​သို့​ ဆင့်​ကဲတိုး​တက်ယူြက၏။ အသိဉာဏ်မဲ့​ြခင်း​ နှင့်​ လူသာမန်တို့​၏ ​ေတာ်ြခင်း​ နှစ်ြဖာမှ ကင်း​လွတ်​ေအာင် မိမိကိုယ်မိမိ တြဖည်း​ြဖည်း​ြပုနိုင်ြက၏။

The foolish think they are smart, And ignore any self-improvement, Eventually becoming the permanent hosts of stupidity.

The clever often assume themselves to be ignorant, And pretend to be what they think; Gradually, they succumb to ignorance.

The wise perceive hidden ignorance and intelligence, And evolve along the path to a greater state of wisdom. Gradally, they free themselves from ingorance and cleverness.
